Parasite Cleanse

Let's also talk about parasites!

A parasite is any organism that lives off the host, to the detriment of the host. This includes worms, flukes, bacteria and fungus. Parasites are not just limited to tape worms! They include fungal overgrowth including candida, (SIFO) and bacteria (SIBO) among so many more.

When our bodies are dealing with parasites, they can become both depleted and inflamed. And a body depleted and inflamed has a much higher chance of succumbing to not only infection but to potential pharmaceutical harms as well.

Parasites can lead to fatigue, digestive issues, eczema, psoriasis, aches and pains, bloating, headaches, cramping and more.

A Nobel peace prize award winning medication, Ivermectin, is one the most prescribed pharmaceuticals for tropical infections, parasites and more. And while it was admonished by the FDA for use in COVID-19 and smeared as a veterinarian medication only, it has since been shown to provide not only effective treatment for current infection of COVID-19 but also prophylactically. A great read on this is The War on Ivermectin by Dr. Pierre Kory

While Ivermectin was sourced from bacteria in the soil, some may prefer an herbal alternative.

Wormwood or Artemisia, has been traditionally used against intestinal parasites and other parasite related infections for centuries. It is also included in the WHO’s essential medicines as an antituberculosis medicine (fighting bacteria affecting the lungs). It is is deworming, anti-parasitic, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti-malarial, antiviral.

Wormwood, as its name states, kills intestinal parasites and other parasites that can lower immunity and lead to inflammation in the body.

A parasite cleanse is a whole thing, so don't jump in without a little prep work and information. Connect with me or someone else for ideas.

I like to combine Wormwood with some of the herbs listed above including Mugwort and Clove along with a few others below.

Black Walnut Hull's key active compound is juglone which is highly toxic to many insect herbivores and is often used by organic farmers as a natural pesticide. It has long been used to expel parasitic worms from the body including ringworm, tape worm, pin or thread worm and others. Aside from its use in parasites, it has also been discovered as potentially having anti-cancer, anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties. It has the potential to improve cardiovascular health and promote healthy skin.

Calendula is a wonderful lymphatic tonic, helping the body to move fluid from the interstitial tissues and support the immune system. This is a powerful ally in supporting the body to flush unwanted residents. As Calendula also speeds up skin cell regeneration and reduces inflammation, it can function greatly in cases where there may be a damaged gut or gut lining. Calendula also happens to be very grounding which is helpful with any flushing.

Garden Sage is a strong anti-viral and contains high amounts of volatile oils. It has a long use in treating parasites and viruses as it helps to kill eggs that are regularly laid.

Self Heal is an all around wonderfully supportive herb that is used to ease inflammation and speed up healing. It is anti-viral, anti-cancer, supports the lymph and supports the gut. This is a great herb to use as the gut is going to through changes.
Our PARASITE CLEANSE comes with it's own mini course on herbs, nutrition and self care tips and tricks to help make your cleanse experience the most powerful it can be. Are you sensitive to cleansing? No problem, you can take it slow and gentle with a drop dosing technique.

Make sure you use a binder when cleansing. Parasites have a role to play in our health; they like to mop up toxins in our gut, which is great, but they sometimes get out of control. When we kill them off, they tend to release all the toxins they've recently absorbed which can lead to us feeling very ill (nausea, diarrhoea, headaches, body aches etc.), so taking binders in the form of soluble fibre, clays and charcoals is very important. More info in the mini course :)
