Soak up the goodness and infuse your skin in herbal supports
650g
As a child, my doctor told me I had 'alligator skin'. He told me to moisturize but all those creams gave me rashes. Having sensitive or reactive skin can be a challenge in cold climates especially!
Using a deeply herbed bath followed by an infused (or straight up) oil can do wonders for skin. Soaking up all that anti-inflammatory goodness and moisture and then locking it up with an oil is ideal. There are a few specific herbs that can greatly help to soothe alligator skin, eczema, psoriasis, rashes and more.
Try following up with organic, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil or one our infused body oils.
BOTANICALS
Calendula, gathered from our gardens while the sun was shining bright, is a magical skin herb and has long been used for its ability to speed up skin cell regeneration while soothing inflammation and easing infection. Wonderful for aging, dry or irritated skin as well as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, rashes and more.
Marshmallow Leaf gently picked from tall stems around our property, is soothing to the skin and mucus membranes of the body. It's slippery-ness is wonderful for addressing both inflammation and dry tissues.
Rose, gently gathered from both our wild and cultivated bushes, is a traditional anointing herb. It has an affinity for opening the heart, bringing in love and softening thorns. It also soothes inflammation, heat from irritation and more.
Colloidal Oatmeal grown from seed in our gardens, is one of our most powerful herbs toning the nervous system, but it's also a powerhouse for soothing inflammation, irritation, pain and more. These finely powdered organic oats are a staple in skin care routines across the world.
