These Electuaries, or herbed honeys, are a delicious and easy way to get the all the benefits of herbs! They are packed with freshly cured and powdered herbs, mostly from our garden, along with local unpasteurized honey. Electuaries don't need to be strained but rather left to develop body and flavour the longer they sit and are used by the spoonful. 

This honey is loaded with vitamic C packed Seabuckthorn and a touch of Ginger to give you a boost of antioxidants and vitamins. It's both sweet (honey) and sour (seabuckthorn) and has a little kick (ginger). This electuary is wonderful both internally and topically! Make yourself a cup of tea or dab the herbed honey onto concerned areas of the skin for a warming and replenishing effect. 

BOTANICALS

Seabuckthorn berries are used to improve sight, boost the immune system, lower inflammation, speed the healing of wounds, address skin concerns including dermatitis, acne and aging. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, and is rich in antioxidants. It is also used for stomach and intestinal ulcers, and heartburn symptoms.

Ginger is a gastrointestinal stimulant, antiseptic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, diaphoretic, anti-thrombotic, anti-cholesterol, antispasmodic and antioxidant. It is used to treat digestive issues, increase circulation and reduce inflammation throughout the body. 

Raw Honey is high in anti-oxidants, anti-bacterial and anti fungal, soothes sore throats and is loaded with phytonutrients. 

USAGE

Add a tsp to a cup of hot water or herbal tea. Alternatively, take it straight or on a piece of bread or dab on a concerned area of skin :)
